Established in 1987, Roth Associates (www.askroth.com) created the Communications Agency Management Consulting discipline. Since then, we have managed the broadest range of consulting assignments with a cumulative size approaching $10 billion in billings.

In 2007 Roth Associates expanded globally with the launch of Roth Observatory International (www.rothobservatoryinternational.com). Co-headquartered in New York and London, this joint venture answers international clients’ growing needs for seamless, global agency selection, management and compensation information and insight.

The long standing success of the firm is attributed to our commitment to marrying both the science and art of agency search and consulting. By science we mean the accuracy of our data which is compiled and updated regularly. By art we mean the qualitative aspect of search and relationship management culled from more years in this business than any other competitor.
2. We provide the most accurate agency compensation data. We maintain a proprietary database that allows us to benchmark staff costs by agency function, geography or type.
3. Roth Associates offers clients the most current information on media agency search. As the importance of media continues to climb, we have invested in staff and information to provide our clients with relevant and meaningful counsel in this critical area of investment. Rot Associates has conducted more Media Agency searches than any consultancy. During the last year media billings for which we provided counsel and search exceeded one billion dollars.
4. Roth Associates only works for advertisers. We do not accept money from advertising agencies in any form: registration fees, material storage fees, or new business consulting fees. We believe a consultant cannot be impartial in identifying the best agency solution for a client when revenue is received from the very agencies the consultant is recommending.
5. Each of our processes is designed to yield usable results. The ultimate goal is to provide our clients with programs, plans or work that, at process end, has reduced the learning curve of a new agency partners or improved the effectiveness and efficiency of an existing partner and maximized our clients’ marketing investment of time and money.

Casey Burnett
Director, Operations
Since joining Roth Associates in 2005, Casey has been actively involved in all aspects of the firm’s operations. Presently, Casey’s focus is on the West Coast, managing the Roth Associates office in Los Angeles. There, in addition to expanding the firm’s range of activities, he manages search and selection activities as well as compensation analyses for current and future clients.

With over 25 years in the world of media, Rich is known globally as an expert in the strategic disposition of media assets to build brands. Formally the Director of Global Advertising Services at The Gillette Company/Procter & Gamble he was responsible for budgets in excess of $900 million.
Dave Braun
Global Media Strategist
Dave has over 30 years of serious media management experience. His previous positions include Vice President Media Services at Kraft Foods and also past Chairman and Director of numerous industry organizations.
Stephanie Becker
Project Management
Prior to joining Roth Associates, Stephanie was in Account Management at Ogilvy and Lowe, specializing in quantitative research. Stephanie’s superb organizational skills are leveraged in a variety of project management assignments and in a supporting role for the Roth Associates’ engagement team.
